Head Coach: Kim Voiles

Kim grew up in Belvedere, Illinois and was a standout high school athlete for Belvedere HS.  She played four years of NCAA collegiate basketball, two with Lewis University and two with Aurora University.  While at Aurora she was team captain and leading scorer both years, and was named 1st Team All-Conference both seasons as well.  

After graduating Kim spent three years coaching college basketball, two years at North Central College in Naperville and one year at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa.  She then spent three years as Sports Director at the Y Sports Complex in Aurora where she also provided some basketball coaching help and individual skills instruction to players there.  The past two years Kim has been working in the HR department for RR Donnelly.  Kim also has previous travel basketball coaching experience with the Rockford Wildcats and Illini Extreme programs.  This will be her 2nd season with the Rockets.

Head Coach: Bobbi Johns

Bobbi Johns grew up in Belvidere, IL where she was a standout 3 sport athlete (basketball, volleyball, track) for Belvidere North HS.  In addition, she always played travel basketball, and continued her basketball playing career at North Central College in Naperville.

As an education major, Bobbi developed a passion for teaching and coaching during her time at NCC.  During her senior year, as a student teacher she also was head coach of the Plainfield North boys volleyball team.  After completing her playing career, she stayed at North Central to be a volunteer assistant coach during their 2015-16 season.  Over the past 2 years, Bobbi has pursued many opportunities to coach basketball for area club teams, including her most recent role as head coach of the Neuqua Wildcats top 8th grade team.

Bobbi looks forward to joining the Rockets staff and sharing her passion for the game with the young ladies in the Rockets program.

Head Coach: Lauren Hernandez

Lauren is from Sterling, IL where she played basketball since she was five years old. She played volleyball and basketball all through high school and decided to continue her basketball career at North Central College in Naperville, IL. She played three years before suffering an injury her senior year. Due to injury Lauren decided to become a student-coach for NCC but despite her injuries, she came back to play her fifth year and finished her career at North Central College. She graduated with a degree in Sports Management with a minor in Marketing. As she played her fifth year, Lauren began pursuing her MBA at North Central and is now a Graduate Assistant in the Office and planning to graduate with an MBA in June. This is her first year with the Rockets and is beyond excited to share her knowledge and her love of the game with all the girls she coaches.



 

Assistant Coach: Danica Bray

Danica is from Wenatchee, WA. This will be her first year coaching for the Rockets.  She played four years of Varsity basketball at Wenatchee High School.   She then went on to play at the collegiate level for Biola University and Wenatchee Valley College. Danica and her husband have been located in the Naperville area for a little over two years. She is currently a stay-at-home mom of three. Danica is very excited to be a part of our program and share her knowledge of the game.

Head Coach: Krista Bonebrake

Krista grew up in a basketball family. All six of her siblings played high school basketball and five of them played in college. Krista graduated from Benet Academy and then went to Lewis University on a basketball scholarship. She graduated with a Liberal Arts degree and then continued on at Lewis to receive her MBA. 

While at Lewis she was the GLVC Newcomer of the Year and All GLVC First Team. She ranks second in Lewis history with 1,854 points, third with 254 steals and fourth with 443 assists. She was inducted into the Lewis Hall of Fame in 1995 and was most recently named to the All Decades(1989’s) Team.  

Coach Bonebrake went on to coach for 10 years at Benet Academy.  First as Freshman A and B coach for 3 years then as an assistant varsity coach.

Coach Bonebrake resides in Plainfield with her daughter and son. She currently coaches her fourth grade daughter on the Rockets Four Red and her son in the Plainfield park district house league.  


Assistant Coach: Ed Eshoo Sr.

Ed Eshoo has been coaching basketball most of his adult life. He coached all seven of his kids through YBA and grade school levels. Six of his kids went on to have very successful college basketball careers. He continues to keep his coaching skills sharp by working with his grandkids. Two of his granddaughters (Emily Eshoo and Lauren Stack) are part of the Rockets organization and both were members of each of the Benet teams that won the state title. Ed has been married to his wife Barbara for 57 years, has seven kids and 21 grand kids ranging from 22 yrs to a soon to be born newborn.
